To minimize delivery time and maximize storage options for its customers, Gas Technologies built the just-in-time (JIT) storage facility at Neot Hovav. The facility, which was planned according the recent regional centers constructed in the United States and in accordance with the guidelines defined by the EPA-US, opened in January 1998. The JIT facility, which occupies four acres, is the largest warehouse for special gases in the Middle East.
Gas Technologies purposefully selected the location of Neot Hovav, 15 kilometers from Israel’s southern desert city of Beer-Sheva. The nature of Neot Hovav’s industrial area enabled Gas Technologies to acquire extensive poison permits for the different gases and provide its customers with vast stocking service. The railway stop at the Neot Hovav facility reduces costs and the need to transport hazardous materials via roads. Another advantage of the location is that it is close to many of Gas Technologies’ key customers.
